Removing Spresso iVersionIt on Windows or macOS is a two-step process:

  1. Uninstall (remove) the app from your system
  2. Delete the app’s support files


Warning! Step 2 is optional and shouldn’t be performed if you want to retain the app’s support files. Support files include app resources and artwork, demonstration projects, and default version backups.

Removing Spresso iVersionIt on Windows

Step 1: Uninstall the app

To uninstall the app, do the following:

  1. Select Start on the Windows taskbar: 
  2. Search for Add or Remove programs by typing the word: remove. When recognized by Windows, press enter.
  3. In the App list, enter: spresso.
  4. Once Spresso iVersionIt appears at the top of the list, click the More button to the right of it:
  5. Select Uninstall from the drop-down list and when prompted, click the Uninstall button.

Step 2: Remove the app’s support files

To remove the app’s supporting files, do the following:

  1. Run File Explorer from the Windows taskbar:
  2. Navigate to your login’s ~\AppData\Roaming folder. The Roaming subfolder is where the app’s supplemental support files are kept.
  3. Select the LSM subfolder located under the Roaming folder) and, if it exists, right-click on the Spresso iVersionIt folder.
  4. Select Delete from the drop-down set of options. (If Delete isn’t present, click Show More Options at the bottom of the list.)



Note: If either the AppData folder or the Roaming subfolder doesn’t appear in Explorer, select the View command followed by Show > Hidden items.



Any iVersionIt backups saved in the app’s default support folders will be deleted. The animation below shows how to remove the app’s support files on Windows:




To make sure that the Spresso iVersionIt app and its supporting files are removed from your system, right-click on the Recycle Bin icon on your Desktop. Click Empty Recycle Bin:




Removing Spresso iVersionIt on macOS

Step 1: Remove the app

To remove the app, do the following:

  1. In Finder, locate the Spresso iVersionIt app in the Applications folder:
  2. Drag the folder to the Trash on the dock.

Step 2: Remove the app’s support files

To remove the app’s support files, do the following:
  1. Bring up Finder and in your ~/Application Support folder, locate the LSM subfolder.
  2. If a subfolder named Spresso iVersionIt exists, drag it to the Trash on the dock.

To make sure that the Spresso iVersionIt app and its support files are removed from your system, right-click on the Trash icon on your Desktop. Click Empty Trash:
