There are two buttons on the main screen that are important:

  • About box: View the version and the app’s edition.
  • Preferences: View and change configuration settings for your app. (Features vary for each of the four editions.)

Viewing information about the app

To view the About box, do the following:
  1. Click the ? button.
  2. The product name, app edition, and version number are displayed.
  3. Click Done to return to the main screen.



Selecting app preferences

To configure the app’s preferences, do the following:
  1. Click the Preferences button.
  2. The date and time formats are shown at the top of the Preferences window. Click the drop-down to select another format.
  3. Select the version number format from the drop-down. If you select X, version numbers are identified as 1, 2, and so on. If your edition offers a version number format of X.Y, versions are identified as 1.1, 1.2, and so on.
  4. If you have a configuration file update (ex: feature level code file), click the ... button to select it. The XML file is usually in your Downloads folder or on the Desktop).
  5. If you need a reminder of the features associated with your edition, they are summarized under Your Spresso iVersionIt edition limits.
  6. To save any preference settings and return to the main screen, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel (or esc).

Note: Preference settings depend on the app’s edition. When changing to a different edition (for example, Decaf to Americano), quit the app and rerun it.
